1988 Pleasant Kirsten's St. Lucia Christmas Outfit American Girl Doll w Wreath

I believe this is the FIRST VERSION of Kirsten's St. Lucia outfit. Includes a beautiful wreath - all berries look to be intact (didn't notice any cracking). Kirsten's white gown is tagged 1988, and the material seems different from the more common versions. It doesn't feel like flannel, but more like cotton. There are two sections of Velcro on the back...Velcro is still clean and tight. Gown looks like it was rarely, if ever, used. Clean with no odors. Also includes her red hair ribbons and striped socks (I THINK these socks may have had the "loop" at the top for hanging on the mantel, but if so, it has been cut off). The 1986 FIRST RELEASE brochure "Kirsten's Christmas Story" is also included, along with the corresponding book, which appears to be unread. This is a wonderful vintage set, perfect for an early Kirsten! DOES NOT INCLUDE KIRSTEN OR SARI!
